报告人简介：
Dr. Chad Bousman completed his PhD in 2009 from the University of California, San Diego with emphasis in genetic epidemiology. Dr. Bousman also holds a Master degree in public health from San Diego State University and Bachelor degrees in sociology and community health education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. His research activities to date have been interdisciplinary and highly collaborative. Dr. Bousman has been involved in studies aimed at identifying genetic biomarkers for a wide range of psychiatric illnesses and associated neurocognitive impairment. He is currently conducting a project aimed at identifying genotypic markers for persistent depression in the primary care setting as well as a projects to uncover potential genetic markers of psychosis onset, antipsychotic and antidepressant response, and cognitive decline. Dr. Bousman has authored several book chapters, peer reviewed scientific journal articles, and has given numerous oral presentations at international conferences and meetings. In addition, Dr. Bousman is an Adjunct Research Fellow within the Centre of Human Psychopharmacology at Swinburne University of Technology and holds Honorary Research Fellow appointments within the Department of General Practice as well as the Mental Health Research Institute. Dr. Bousman is also on the Editorial Board of Metabolomics: Open Access and reviews for several journals including Schizophrenia Research, Drug and Alcohol Dependence, and the Journal of the International Neuropsychological Society.
